On March 3, approximately 200 students participated in a dance party in support of the protests being held the following day. It was insane madness; led by a portable DJ with his equipment running on car batteries. The party started on Font Blvd and after touring all of the housing units ended up behind the Cesar Chavez building.
Originally, everyone was on the ground level, but slowly students started to climb onto the rooftops. The police kept their distance, and eventually the party ended at approximately 2 am. Bottles of alcohol were seen, as were people smoking marijuana. The pictures in the slideshow are a good visualization of what it was like. Warning: Some of the pictures include females wearing just a bra on the top.
